Emily, yours is the only paid subscription I have on Substack- and I am so very thankful. I appreciate you and the work you do. And- thank you for the reminder (not in this post, but elsewhere) that January is the new week between Christmas and New Year’s.
Emily, you are the soul guide and friend I've never met in real life. I am sitting currently in a bougie coffee shop working on my laptop. But before I started working this morning, I wrote a bit in my NRT Guided Journal. It's my third one (almost complete), and my FOURTH just arrived last week (courtesy of my husband; it was on my bday list!). I support a handful of creators; you will always be one. Thankful for your work.
You’ve been a gentle, kind and gracious soul guide since I started listening to the podcast in 2019 (shortly after my husband and I moved to Ghana with our 4 young kids). Your writing has had a huge impact on my journey, and I’m so thankful to now be in this quiet(er) corner of the internet as a subscriber! Grateful for you and your work, Emily!
Emily, I have no idea how long I have been reading your writing, having your voice in my ear through your podcast and Quiet Collection app, and thoroughly enjoyed your approach to life. Yours is the only Substack I pay for because you are trustworthy, kind and have created this uniquely safe place for our souls to rest. THANK YOU for all you do and who God made you to be. You are such an incredibly blessing to so many.
I just upgraded to Founding because you, Emily, have been the conduit of hundreds of blessings in my life. I don't know why I didn't start out that way!!! Like many others have said, I appreciate the quiet, thoughtful and steading truth you share. A calming presence inviting me to reflect and observe before taking action. Every time I read Matthew 13:52 I think of you. “Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old.” You give us the bedrock truth of ages past coupled with inspiring ways to apply it to our modern lives and problems.
I'm veering away from Instagram to substack because on here, I can read curated content I know will nourish my soul, like your writing! Also a proud paid subscriber - thank you for this post and your words 😊
I love this space and am always glad I invested my time, brain space and subscription cost to be here. Thank you for guiding us to say no to overwhelm and focus our attention on what matters most. What a treasure this space is! 🪴
Emily, I have been blessed so much by your writing. Your Advent Collections were my mainstay, and I listened to them over and over, they brought me so much comfort. I look forward to reading your words, and find it such a source of help for my soul.
I so enjoy your content and have really benefited from the paid subscription. I agree that I can only swing supporting a few Substacks at a time, but those are the ones that really feed me, and I like that I am helping those creators pay their bills.
Emily, thank YOU and thanks to the Founding members who make possible that someone like myself can get a scholarship. I so wish I can be in that position sometime in the future, but for now I continue to learn to do my next right thing and delight in the grace and generosity of God through so many kind souls. Btw, I loved your conversation with Tracey Gee in this week's podcast, it's one of many I know I will be returning to, very insightful.
Emily, your writing is always life giving rather than soul sucking. So after a year of free membership I became a member because, why not?! Thank you for all of it - listening, podcast, writing, photos, emails, prayers and …

Wow, thank you for this kind and overwhelming support, Jen. Means so much! I just started my FIFTH next right thing journal. I use it nearly daily!

Well that is high praise. Thank you!
I am thankful to be a paid subscriber, (and the first to write a comment)!
I invest here because this is thoughtful and beautiful content, and it’s my tiny way of elevating something good in the world.
Thank you Jennifer! That means a lot.

You really are! Thank you for your support, Natalie. It really means more than you know.
I only pay to read 3 Substacks. And yours is 1 of them, Emily.
Thank you Linda! I’m honored to know it.

I'm happy to be a paid subscriber, but I did not know about the private IG account, could you direct me please and thank you?
