Of all the decisions we make every day, some of the heaviest (most bothersome? most distracting? most annoying?) can be deciding what to share, when to share, and who to share it with.
You might be thinking, well I’m not a writer so telling my story isn’t something I have to think about.
You sure?
We are all walking around with ailments, heartbreaks, secrets, hurts, small joys, and daily frustrations. We all have stories and are making decisions every day about how much to share about our lives, our family lives, our relationships, the situation at work, our diagnosis, our financial troubles, and on and on it goes.
From funny anecdotes to family secrets, we may wonder how much is too much, who we can trust, and who really cares, anyway? It gets complicated when the story we’re holding doesn’t only involve us but another person, group, or entity.
